This may seem silly but I finally weigh less than Chris again. haha. I weighed less than him when we got married but once our one year anniversary swung by, we were the same, and then I got pregnant and yeah. But the past week or so, I've finally been less than him and (for me,) it's been exciting. :)
PS. ...had spaghetti for dinner tonight, which is DEFINITELY not on the HCG diet, but I figure, gotta cheat a little otherwise, a person is likely to go crazy.

It's been a while.
I just looked at this blog again. It's been nearly 7 months since I last wrote! Things have been pretty crazy, I guess. In December, Chris and I moved back together (which sounds weird, but I promise it wasn't because of marital problems. :) haha I was away at school, remember?), we both continued school and finished the semester in June, and he continued working and I got a part time job. By the end of the semester I was so ready for a break I nearly died. hehe, not really. Okay so onto weight loss!
**Just a note, that goal counter is incorrect, but I don't know how to fix/change it**
I know a lot of people are against HCG but I've decided to try it. I started.... June... something. Early June. Okay, I had to go look. It was June 10th. I had gained back (and more) my weight which was really upsetting to me. I saw on a friend's facebook that she'd lost 25 pounds on HCG and she looked/looks amazing. I asked how she did it and she said HCG and told me where to get it so I did.
I started on the 10 of June, nearly a month ago, and as of today, I've lost 13 pounds. I've got about 3 weeks left on the program and I'm hoping to lose at least another 10-15 pounds. In addition to HCG and the diet, I've started going to the gym again, which I think has been helping. Hopefully after I'm off HCG I'll still be in the mode of going to the gym and will continue going.
I've also noticed that my body retains water and weight really easily which is not fun. I'm thinking about, due to a suggestion from a nurse at work, going to a doctor's to have a thyroid test done. I don't seem to lose weight very easily when it's just diet and exercise so perhaps that will answer some questions and help me when I'm off HCG. I've thought about before and after photos... but I think I'd be happier with just after. So if you want to see any progress, you'll just have to see me in person. :)

My Wants
This was a snippet of my conversation with Chris tonight:
Me: I want to go to the gym 6 days a week, maybe twice a day.
Me: I want to eat veggies and chicken.
Me: I want brown rice
Me: I want a lot of water and flavored water.
Me: I want to weigh 120 pounds.
Me: I want this to happen in 6-8 months.
Me: Sound good?
Me: and I want lots of cute new clothes when I lose it all.
To all this, my husband (very supportingly) says: well if you do all that, it will be done in 3 months
He's being a little too supportive. I don't think it's not possible to lose roughly 35 pounds (healthily) in 3 months. Nice try though, dear. :)
haha. Another thing I've thought of since, is that when I'm hot because it's summer time, I want for my wedding rings to still fit easily even though I'm all swollen from the heat. Do you know what I mean?
If I can get to this goal, 120lbs will be the smallest I'll have been since ... well, I don't really know. Probably middle school. I think I was about 135 in HS. If I can lose 30- 35 pounds in 7 months (I'm giving myself 8) that will mean 5 pounds a month. Totally doable! Can't wait to get back to Utah and get back to the gym!!!!

Day 147
Oh dear. Bad news. Haha, I've not been able to make it to the gym like, 2 months. It's been really sad. I have eczema on my upper lip and from past experience, I know that when I get sweaty my lip/eczema gets worse. I'm not sure why my eczema acts up like this sometimes. Some times it's just a few days at a time other times its weeks. In this case, it's months. It hurts and is embarrassing and not fun. Anyway, also, my family doesn't cook the healthiest kinds of foods... hehe, but it is darn good food. Because of all this, I haven't done well on the weight loss. In fact, I've gained about back about 5 to 7 pounds. Gross, I know and I feel really disgusting. It probably doesn't help that I go to bed around 2 or 3 am every night. You do know that getting a good amount of sleep helps your body maintain and/or lose weight, right? I only have another week till we leave for home in UT and then I'll get to go back to the gym! I'm really excited about that. If any friends reading this are in Orem or Provo or American Fork I'd be happy to go to the gym with you! :) Yay.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update: (12/14) It turns out I've only gained back about 3 pounds. Wow, that's a big difference. The scale I use is an analog scale (with the needle pointer, you know?) and today I stepped onto a digital scale and was pleasantly surprised to see a lower number than I'd expected. Sweet.

Day 80
Wow, it's been a while. I still weigh the same. And now that Margot's wedding is done, I've gotten really relaxed about eating and exercising. Not too good, I know, I know. I gotta get back on that band-wagon! :)
