Not much to report today. Ate a bit much at lunch time but it's probably because I didn't have breakfast. I'm not looking forward to not being able to go to they gym tomorrow. :( Gotta figure out something else. Maybe I'll actually go outside to run. We'll see.
ALSO: I'm happy to report that I have seen some dropage on the scale! I've lost 2 pounds!! I'm really excited to see some results. I've been wondering and wondering. It's so great to see my number going down! Hurray!
Breakfast: Nothing—went straight to the gym-- bad, bad, bad. I know.
Water: 0
Lunch: A few bites of pasta and a ham sandwich. Then I had an Otter Pop. Oh and a few chips with salsa.
Water: 12 oz
Dinner: Christopher made a vegetable and beef chili. It was soo yummy!
Water: 32 oz
Exercise: Went to the gym right after we all woke up. Chris helped me with a few of the arm machines and some leg/calves machines. We ran a mile then walked a few minutes and then biked for about 10 minutes.

Day 11
(Our internet has gone out so my posts may be a bit sporadic. Sorry)
I had a love/hate relationship with the gym today. After work, I was all ready to go. I called the gym in Orem (at 800 N) to make a day care appointment. They aren’t opened on Fridays after 1pm. Dang. Okay, so I called the American Fork day care since I was still in town. They were closing in a half hour. Crap. After I got off the phone, I ALMOST started to cry. (I think it’s because I’m PMS-ing. Thanks.) I get home and Baby is so tired, I just put her right to bed even though it’s nearly 6. She needed a nap. Around 7, I decided to go to the gym while Chris stayed home and looked after the baby. I’m really glad I went but it was tough to get there.
Breakfast: Bowl of Chex
Water: 24 oz.
Lunch: Ham sandwich
Water: 12 oz.
Dinner: 13 chips (yes, I counted. Haha) and some fresh salsa Christopher made. Yummy! With a can of corn with the tiniest drizzle of ranch and some taco seasoning. Then I had a few bites of rice.
Exercise: Ran a mile and beat my last mile time! Yay! It was just under 12 minutes. It was about 11:45 or something…. My goal was under 12 and I did it! J Then walked and ran until a half hour was up. Then I did the elliptical for 32 minutes (cuz I was watching a movie in the cinema room and wanted to watch a part. hehe).

Day 10
I went to the gym twice today. Ran both times. This has been the easiest so far! :)
I also saw a show about chocolate today and it looked yummy. I said "I want chocolate"... which I've been wanting for about 2 days now. Chris said, "When was the last time you cheated?" and I said, "Like, eating candy? I haven't." So he said that I should cheat tonight because everyone should cheat once in a while otherwise, they'll cheat all the time. It's true. Then I went to See's Candy and got some Milk Chocolate chocolate buttercream. Mmmmm....... So good. Thanks babe for the encouragement to cheat. :)
Breakfast: One crunch bar. (I was in a hurry to get to the gym.)
Water: 24oz
Lunch: Ham sandwich and ... a bite or two of Baby's mac and cheese.
Water: 18 oz.
Dinner: Mm.. Tacos. 2 of them. And corn with some taco meat and salsa. And a few tortillas and salsa. Ate a bit much but it was yummy.
Water: 24 oz
Exercise: Gym this morning-- Ran/walked a half hour. Biked 15 minutes, ellipticaled 15 minutes. Gym tonight-- Ran/walked for 25 minutes then ellipticaled it for 5 minutes. It was a quicky gym visit but it was good.

Day 9
So I just totally ate too much food for lunch. Yikes. I gotta figure out when to go to the gym today since Chris won't be home till 11 tonight and Baby was sick last night. Eesh. Well I'll just have to pretend I ate dinner for lunch and lunch for dinner.
Breakfast: Bowl of Chex and bread with strawberry jam.
Water: 12 oz
Lunch: 2 slices of pizza and a bowl of pasta with veggies. Yikes. That shoulda been dinner at the most.
Water: 24 oz
Dinner: Ham sandwich.
Water: 12 oz
Exercise: 30 minutes on the elliptical, 20 on the treadmill and then 17 on the bike.
Water: 20 oz
Today's workout was lazier than in the past. Instead of running the whole time, I went back and forth between walking and running, but everything else was about the same. Also, Baby with me today too, to the day care. I've never actually used it but we paid for it when we got our membership. She seemed to enjoy it and didn't scream when I dropped her off. And the girl working there gave us a birthday invitation to her daughter's 4 year birthday party... kinda weird. She was nice... I don't think we'll be going though.

Day 8
Today, I have been really tempted at dinner. I cooked some rice and I *love* rice. Love, love, love it. Maybe because I'm Korean? Asian eat a lot of rice. How do Asians in Asia stay so stinking skinny???? All those veggies, I suppose. I don't look like any of those ones. haha It's getting easier to want to go to the gym and once I'm there it's easy to get going but midway through, I just wanna go home. heh. Still gotta figure out how to use the arm machines...
Breakfast: Bowl of Chex and a crunchy Oats and Honey bar.
Water: 12 oz.
Lunch: Ham sandwich.
Water: 24 oz
Dinner: Teriyaki Chicken, green beans and rice. One chicken breast and once scoop of rice. And then an extra bite. Hehe. After the extra bite I stopped. :) Promise.
Water: 12 oz (but I'll be having some more soon.)
Exercise: Today, I ran for an extra minute, making it ALMOST a 12 minute mile. (I stopped running at like, 0.97th of a mile.) Can you believe I used to be able to run an 8 minute mile back in middle school? Yeah... me either. But it's true. Maybe I will again some day. Then, the elliptical for 20 and the bike for 15.

Day 7
Today's work out part of running was harder than it was Saturday. Maybe because I had the day in between of nothing? Yeah, yesterday totally sucked because the gyms around here are closed. Totally lame. I'm really upset about it, actually. ANYWAY.
Breakfast: Bowl of chex cereal and a hard boiled egg.
Water: 24 oz
Lunch: A small bowl of mash potatoes and a TON of corn. Mmmm. :) Also a little bit of turkey.
Water: Not much. Maybe 10 oz?
Dinner: Not so great-- 2 slices of pizza and I'm going to be making some veggies to eat. Ahhh. :)
Water: 24 oz
Exercise: Ran 11 minutes straight, walked 15 minutes, elliptical 25 minutes and biked 10 minutes.

Day Six
I didn't get to go to the gym today because the gyms shut down on Sundays so that wasn't any fun. I did do some push-ups though. I'll be going back to the gym tomorrow. Yay.
Breakfast: Christopher made me a ham and egg sandwich was pretty good.
Water: 12 oz
Lunch: The rest of the spinach salad from yesterday.
Water: 12 oz
Dinner: Hamburger and a can of corn. Yum. I love corn.

Just a random thought...
Why is it that I am gaining weight now that I'm exercising and working out? This is ridiculous. :( In my first post I said I'm starting at 157. Thursday I weight 161!!!! LAME. I have been watching what I'm eating, running, walking, push-ups, etc, So why the heck do I weigh more? Luckily, this morning I weighed myself and I'm back to 157, but how lame is it that I gained weight? TOTALLY lame. Can someone *please* explain this to me cuz I pretty much hate it. Gracias. :)

Day 5
Today was pretty good exercise-wise. :) I've gotta figure out how to use some of the arm machines in addition to the cardio. I've been doing push-ups and the Wii boxing, but I'd like to be able to use some the machines at the gym, too. I have noticed some muscles in the sides of my torso, not where my love handles are but a little more toward the front, but not where an ab-pack would be. (ha, would be.) So that's a bit exciting. Also, why do guys always watch themselves lift weights? I find that odd...
Breakfast: Bowl of Chex mix.
Water: 12 oz
Lunch: Spinach salad and ham sandwich. Yum!
Water: 20 oz
Dinner: Salmon from Costco! :-D I *love* salmon.
Water: 24 oz.
Exercise: Running for 15 minutes, elliptical for 15 minutes, bike for 20.
Water: 30 oz
Also, today was the easiest cardio workout I've had since I started on Monday. Hopefully things get easier and easier as I go along. I'm hoping that by October, I'll have slimmed down about 2 dress sized. That would really be lovely. I'm excited to have some muscles show in my arms. I used to have some pretty defined ones in Middle School and HS. It'll be nice to have those back. :)

Day 4 (7/23)
This'll be short since it's now 1:11am and Chris is bugging me to go to bed. (I'm on the bed... doesn't that count?)
Breakfast: Rice Chex cereal, milk and some toast.
Water: 24oz
Lunch: Ham sandwich with a few bites of Baby's ramen soup. :)
Water: 24oz
Dinner: Some fruit drink and french dip and some nachos. I went out with some friends and decided to splurge a little.
Water: 30oz
Exercise: In the morning I did about 20 minutes of Wii Boxing and then after I was done with dinner I went to the gym for 40 minutes. Walked/ran, biked, and elliptical.

Day 3
Perhaps I should also mention that the day before Day 1, I went to the gym with Carly. (We were there for about 45 minutes -- walked {could have run} and then did the elliptical for about 15 minutes.) If I don't, I'll forget I went. So, let's call that Day 0. haha
Breakfast: Bowl of rice cereal, a slice of toast (with yummy garlic jam).
(Snack: Crunch bars.. the Oats and Honey thing.)
Water: 24oz.
Lunch: Sandwich from a place in Orem called Sensuous Sandwich, with Roast Beef, lettuce and some mayo. It was pretty good. I also had a plate of roasted veggies I made.
Water: 20 oz?
Dinner: 2 slices of pizza and green beans. Yum! (The pizza made me kinda sick, so I think I'm done with yucky foods.)
Water: 24 oz
I also need to have more fruit. I'm a big veggie lover but I've also go to eat more fruits. You can't survive off veggies alone. To quote Marge Simpson, "Fruit is nature's candy!" haha
Exercise: I went to the gym after the baby went to bed and my husband stayed home. I ran over a mile, with 2 breaks-- a potty break (I've been drinking a lot of water!!) and then my machine started acting weird. It would slow way down and then speed all the way back up. I had to change machines.

Day 2
I got up extra early (Well... early for *me*) at 7, showered and ran off to get my hair colored. So, since I didn't have much time that meant not such a great breakfast. Hopefully the rest of the day goes better. Also, planning on going to the gym with Carly after work tonight. Yay. My arms are killing me from Wii Boxing as well as some muscles in my back that haven't been used in ages.
For my menus, I'm going off the OverEaters Anonymous (OA) diet, but I'll be tweaking it a bit since eating that much food is expensive every day/week. If you are interested in having a copy, lemme know!
Breakfast: Oats and Honey crunch bar (which was actually really good!)
Water: 24 oz
Lunch: Green beans, 2 hard boiled eggs and a touch of ranch dressing
Water: 24 oz
Dinner: Stir fry with LOTS of veggies-- zucchini, mushrooms and green bell peppers. Also, I'll have a little bit of rice (per OA). And of course,
Water: 24 oz.
Exercise: I walk/ran for 15 minutes/1 mile. This idea I got from my friend Meghan. I started out walking for two minutes, then I'd run for 2 minutes. Then I went back to walking for two minutes and then running again this time for three minutes. Every time I ran I'd run for 2 to 3 minutes. I also did a stationary bike machine for 30 minutes at no less then 85 reps/minute, and I'd also go as fast as I could for 15-30 seconds and then go back to my normal pace. I know it's not much but I've gotta start somewhere!

Day One
My goal is both long term and short term. The short term goal is to lose at least 10-15 pounds by Sept 30th for my friend's wedding in Oct. My long term goal is to lose 25 pounds by the end of the year or early next year. My starting weight... is really embarrassing, so don't hate! hehe. I am starting at 157. Eventually I'd like to be in the mid-130s and slim down. I have lost all my baby weight since A was born in Sept 08, but I most certainly don't look like it. I'll be using this blog to track my "progress" and jot down any thoughts I have during the next 6 months or so. Thanks for reading and wish me luck! :)
Water: As of 12:02p, I have had 24oz.
Exercise: 15 minutes of Wii Boxing. 10 (girl) pushups
Breakfast: Yikes-- a bowl of spaghetti. (Last night's dinner.)
Lunch: An otter pop, some ramen soup and a ham sandwich.
Dinner: We went out to dinner. I had bow tie pasta with "creamy pesto" sauce. Unfortunately I wasn't paying attention and I drank my entire glass of Root Beer. Yikes. And my whole thing of bread. BUT, I did only eat half of my pasta serving. That's gotta count for something, right? haha
Hmm... make that 2 otter pops. I spent an hour at the pool. I was thirsty! I promise I'll drink some water but mmmm, otter pops. :)
